Mary Beth Hardy, Regional Director, LivHome

Mary Beth Hardy joined LivHOME in 2004 as Executive Director, bringing more than 15 years of experience to the company. Currently, she is the responsible for branch operations in Chicago, Houston and Minneapolis.

Previously, Mary Beth worked as a professional care manager, serving both organizations and communities that work with elders. As director of older adult services and healthy communities with Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital from 1996 through 2001, she was instrumental in developing outreach and support services for elders, their families and the community. Mary Beth received her master's in public health from Benedictine University and her bachelor of science in nursing from Villanova University. Her accomplishments include being one of fifty AHA Healthy Communities Fellows in 1999. Mary Beth is a member of the American Society on Aging, the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and currently holds board/committee positions with the Southwest Suburban Center on Aging.

Mary Beth is a passionate advocate and speaker on the aging experience. She was the keynote speaker at the 23rd Annual Illinois Workers in Aging Conference (2002), and presented on "Caring for the Caregiver" Multidisciplinary Program in Geriatrics for Non-Physicians, University of Illinois. Mary Beth is also a certified master trainer for the Powerful Tools for Caregivers curriculum.
