Houston Geriatric Education Center's Baby Boomer Imperative Certificate Course

Event Description:

This is a 40-hour certificate program with 27 hours of onsite training and 13 hours of online training. The recommended audience for this program is any health care faculty or practitioner interested in the field of geriatrics/gerontology. Onsite classes occur one Friday per month for four months. Participants may receive continuing education credit for completing one or more full days. Only those participants who complete all 40 hours of training will receive a certificate. Class begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 4:30 pm. The course is held at the UTHealth School of Nursing, Room 370, located at 6901 Bertner Ave., Houston, TX 77030, in the Texas Medical Center.
