• enhance job skills and provide opportunities to exchange knowledge and ideas with other professionals

• address community concerns and issues related to elder/adult abuse and neglect

• elevate public awareness of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of the elderly and people with disabilities

• foster collaboration among those who serve, treat or represent victims of elder abuse
